Our vision is to create an interactive, educational, and inspiring space where children of all ages and abilities can explore, discover, and learn through hands-on exhibits, creative play, and programs designed to spark curiosity. The museum will serve as a resource not just for families but also for schools, educators, and community groups throughout Eastern North Carolina.

The museum is a grassroots effort headed by the We Can Be Association, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization created in 2020 to assist with funding for equipment, therapy, and out-of-pocket medical expenses for children and their families in Eastern North Carolina. Any funds from the museum beyond operating expenses will go toward continuing the mission of We Can Be Association.
